Spring Cleaning of the mind, body, and soul

Writer's picture: Suzanne LeonardSuzanne Leonard

What you think of when you hear someone say they are doing their spring cleaning?

For most of us spring cleaning is the time we take to de-clutter our homes and open everything back up after a long stuffy winter, and who doesn't feel amazing and accomplished afterwords. Your home looking good; all refreshed, opened up, and bright. Okay, so now what? Your home is all set, but what about you?

Wouldn't you benefit from a little spring cleaning too? Not sure what I mean, well what if just like our home, we decided to de-clutter ourselves, and get rid of all the junk and negativity in us. What if we opened ourselves up to let the light and fresh air in after a long dark spell. To often we forget to get rid of all the junk we don't need and we end up wading through so much clutter that we can't go anywhere. We spend so much time holding on to the negative is our lives that we can't see what we need. We all need to do a little spring cleaning sometimes to make sure that the junk and clutter doesn't get so big that we can't see Jesus anymore.
