How often in life do we gauge the level or degree of sin? How often do we create grey areas in life, blurring the lines between right and wrong? Put sin into perspective. Think about it like this for just a minute, you are a city and the multitude of buildings represent your sins. If you stand upon the ground looking up at these buildings you think, some are big, some are small, some are not that bad at all. Now imagine
you are in a plane flying overhead, can you tell which ones are short or which ones are tall? From this view a building is just a building, and sin is sin, no less or greater than any other. This is the view which God has. The Bible says guilty of one guilty of all. It is by repentance and grace that we are granted salvation in spite of our sins. We are all born into sin, only one perfect man has ever walked the face of the earth and there shall never be another, God sees what lies within our hearts even when we don’t want Him to, there is no hiding, and there is no escaping the consequences of the lives we choose to live.
